What are some good indications that the company you work for might be sold or bought out soon?
What are some good indications that the company you work for might be sold or bought out soon? I ask this because the company I work for has been doing some reorganization with the executive management that doesn’t make real good sense to me or my co-workers. There have been some other weird stuff going on lately too. I just am wondering if we are being sold or bought out.
If a business is either looking for a buyer, or is in selling negotiations prior to sale, you could observe some or all of the following:
1. More Top Management meetings than usual;
2. Sprucing up the facility, painting, cleaning, repairing;
3. More Visitors than usual;
4. More telephone activity;
5. Managers dressing better than usual;
6. Out of town trips;
7. Visits and correspondence with Attorneys;
8. Overall, a higher level of emotion;
9. You might note that usually when selling, a company usually DOES NOT make layoffs as it might appear that business is not good.
