
Day 1: Meeting and accommodation at Tbilisi Hotel Georgian House. Start the program with Tbilisi tour: Sameba Cathedral, Abanotubani, Narikala fortress, Metekhi Church, History Museum, Sioni Church, Anchiskhati basilica, open air Ethnography Museum. Dinner at the restaurant Tamada, stay overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Breakfast and drive to East Georgia – Kakheti region: David Garedja walking tour and picnic, visit Town Sighnaghi and city-tour, Bodbe Monastery. Dinner and stay overnight at the Vazisubani village house.
Day 3: Breakfast and Kakheti tour: Nekresi walking tour, visit to the medieval castle of Gremi, way along Caucasus mountains to Telavi, visit Shuamta and picnic in nature, Ikalto academy, Alaverdy monastery complex (XI c.) and drive back to Tbilisi. Dinner, stay overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 4: Breakfast and drive to Caucasus mountains – Georgian military road via ancient Capital of Georgia – Mtskheta: visit historical and architectural complex of Jvari (586 – 604), Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010 – 1029), Ananuri fortress, Gudauri mountain – ski resort, Jvari Pass (picnic at 2395 m above the sea level), hiking to Gergeti Trinity Church at 2170 m. with the most magnificent view on the Kazbegi peak (5033 m), dinner and stay overnight in Kazbegi.
Day 5: Breakfast, trekking tour to Truso Valley and drive to Borjomi via Gori: visit Stalin Museum, Cave-city Uplistsikhe, picnic. Borjomi City tour and dinner, stay overnight at Olymp hotel in Borjomi.
Days 6 & 7: Breakfast, 2 days mountain biking tour to Borjomi – Kharagauli national park, stay overnight in tents. At day 7; return to Tbilisi. Dinner at Georgian Restaurant Tamada with national dishes, wine and live music; stay overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 8: Breakfast, free day for shopping, transfer to airport for departure.
